This Privacy Policy describes how Budget Show ("the App") handles information when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store. Because this application is engineered explicitly to safeguard merchant and customer privacy, it operates under a strict zero-data collection framework.

1. Data Collection Framework

The App operates completely as a client-side Theme App Extension. We do not collect, store, harvest, process, or transmit any personal data, customer records, identities, tracking cookies, or merchant credentials to external databases or third-party servers.

All runtime features, including disposable income formulas, safe spend calculations, product catalog filtering arrays, and live shopping cart guardrail calculations, are executed directly in the user's local web browser engine session.

2. How We Access and Use Information

To deliver real-time user experiences, the client-side script parses local storefront attributes:

• Shopify Cart AJAX Endpoint: The App pings your store's native local URL secure path /cart.js to dynamically fetch the active session's cumulative total to compute budget thresholds.
• Storefront Catalog Attributes: The App references exposed HTML dataset prices on product cards to automatically configure conditional visibility rules based on the consumer's self-reported limits.

This state evaluation happens on-the-fly and vanishes completely the moment the browser tab or session window is terminated.

3. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

Because the app contains no remote cloud API endpoints, databases, tracking pixels, or telemetry systems, no information is shared with or sold to advertising systems, analytical brokers, or secondary technical platforms.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain zero bits of data. Consequently, when a merchant removes the App from their Shopify system drawer, no lingering codebase artifacts or configuration fields remain stored anywhere, ensuring instantaneous compliance with deletion standards.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our operational workflows or for structural legal and regulatory compliance updates. Any amendments will be pushed transparently to this repository file path.
